Odoo already has a good chatter search box - inside the one record you're already looking at. There's no way to search message content across records or models: Discuss's own search bar only matches channel names, never what's actually written in a message. This app adds one command palette entry - "Search All Messages" (Ctrl+K) - that searches message bodies and subjects everywhere at once and jumps straight to the matching record.
What it does
No new model, no new permissions
Reads mail.message through the ORM, which already enforces exactly which messages each user can see. If you couldn't read it in the chatter, you won't see it here either.
Every model at once
Not scoped to one app. A search finds matching messages on contacts, tasks, invoices, leads - anywhere a chatter message was ever logged.

- Odoo 19.0, Community or Enterprise.
- Odoo.sh or On-Premise only. Third-party apps cannot be installed on Odoo Online (SaaS) databases — check your hosting before buying.
