Cookie Consent Enforcer
Hold analytics and marketing scripts back until the visitor consents to that category, and inject them the moment they do
The video below shows Cookie Consent Enforcer running on a real Odoo 19 database. Want it driven against your own data, or a question answered first? Ask and we will set up a session.
A consent banner that records the answer but lets the tag fire anyway is not compliance. It is a written record that the tag fired first.
The free Cookie Consent Banner logs what each visitor agreed to. This is the part that actually stops the scripts.
Two scripts registered by category. Neither reaches the page until the visitor agrees to that category.
What it does
Nothing runs before the answer
Your scripts never appear in the page as script tags. A browser runs a script tag the moment it parses it, long before anyone has seen the banner - so they travel as inert data and are injected only once the consent record says that category was accepted.
Per category, not all or nothing
A visitor who accepts analytics but refuses marketing gets the analytics tag and not the pixel. Each script is registered against the category it belongs to, and gated on that category alone.
Consent takes effect immediately
Agreeing halfway through a visit injects what was just permitted, without a reload. The alternative - waiting for the next page view - loses exactly the session the visitor just opted into.
It refuses the easy mistakes
A tracker with both a URL and a snippet is ambiguous; one with neither sits in the list looking as though it does something. Script tags pasted into a snippet would end up nested inside the injected tag and never run. All three are refused at the form rather than failing silently on the page.
No "essential" category
A tracker is never essential. Offering the option would only invite marketing scripts to be filed under it, which is the exact failure this app exists to prevent.
