DAC7 Threshold Check

Find out whether DAC7 applies to you, and to which of your sellers

The video below shows DAC7 Threshold Check running on a real Odoo 19 database. Want it driven against your own data, or a question answered first? Ask and we will set up a session.

DAC7 obliges digital platform operators in the EU to report the sellers who earn through them. The first question is not how to file - it is whether you have to, and for whom.

That question has a countable answer, and the data is already in Odoo. Pick a calendar year, run the check, and every vendor you paid is listed with their total consideration, their number of relevant activities, and whether they cross the reporting threshold.

Four reportable sellers and one exempt - each on the right side of the rule, and why.

What it does

The rule most often read wrongly

The carve-out is AND , not OR. A seller is excluded only when both limbs are under for the year - fewer than 30 relevant activities and consideration of EUR 2 000 or less. Either one alone makes them reportable. This app applies both limbs together.

Counts, never files

This app produces no report, no export and no attachment - a test in the module asserts that. It answers whether the obligation applies; it does not act on it.

Not tax advice

This app counts what is in your accounting and applies the published de-minimis thresholds. Whether the DAC7 obligation applies to your business, and how it should be discharged, remains yours to determine with your adviser.

What it does not do

Stated up front so nothing about the scope is a surprise after you install it.
