Page Accessibility Check

Check one page for the four accessibility failures screen readers hit hardest

The video below shows Page Accessibility Check running on a real Odoo 19 database. Want it driven against your own data, or a question answered first? Ask and we will set up a session.

Accessibility problems are cheap to find and expensive to discover late. Four of them are decidable from the markup alone, with no judgement call involved - either the attribute is there or it is not.

Pick a published page, press Run Check, and this tells you which of the four are failing and how many times.

Four counts and a plain-words summary, for the page you picked.

What it does

Nothing leaves your server

The page is rendered in-process by this Odoo instance, not fetched over the network. There is no outbound request to firewall, nothing is sent to a third-party scanning service, and the app cannot be pointed at a site you do not own.

No history, by design

Each run replaces the previous result for that page. There is no per-issue record, no signature, no dedup across runs and no open/ignored/fixed state - a test in the module asserts none of that can appear later. Those are what turn a checker into an auditor.

What automated checks can and cannot tell you

Automated checks catch a real but limited slice of WCAG. Passing all four here does not make a page accessible - it means these four failures are absent.

What it does not do

Stated up front so nothing about the scope is a surprise after you install it.
